Cherry Festival

Berat, in its rural area among many agricultural crops, has a large area of ​​cherries and is one of the largest producers in the country. There are many varieties and areas that have been cultivating this fruit for years and selling it all over Albania. A beautiful and very special tradition is the tradition of cherry lyko that Berat ladies prepare every year when it is cherry season as one of the most qualitative products that is reserved for treating special guests as the tradition of hospitality in Berat demands. Various activities with folk music and guests, fair, animators, fun games for children, photos, videos, tasting will take place on this day.
