Divani Lunxhot Festival

The Divani Lunxhot Festival returns for its 12th edition as one of the most important cultural and folkloric heritage events in the Lunxhëri region, bringing together Albanian folk groups and regional artistic ensembles in an atmosphere filled with traditional music, folk dances, and characteristic hospitality. On 28–29 August 2026, the festival will transform the villages of Erind and Kakoz into vibrant cultural hubs, where tradition intertwines with art, history, and local identity. The artistic evenings will feature performances of polyphonic songs, traditional dances, folk costumes, and authentic presentations reflecting the spiritual richness of Albanian regions and the wider area. An important part of the festival will also be the culinary and handicraft fairs, where visitors will have the opportunity to taste traditional dishes from the Lunxhëri region, organic products, and local recipes, as well as get acquainted with handmade crafts, traditional clothing, and elements of Albanian cultural heritage. The festival aims to promote folk culture, cultural tourism, and the traditional values of the Lunxhëri region, creating a bridge between generations and communities through art and tradition.
