Korça Open Air

The Korçë Municipality, in collaboration with the Albanian Aeronautics Group, organizes every year in December the event “Free Flight Championship”. The event takes place at the Flight Field and Terrain (former Aviation Field) in Lumalas and features participation from professional pilots from Albania, Kosovo, and other European countries, as well as enthusiasts of free flight from Albania and other regional countries. After the competitions conclude, an official awards ceremony is held to honor the winners of the championship.
