The Third Festival of Traditional Dances and Polyphonic Song in Derviçan

On July 11, 2026, in Derviçan, within the Municipality of Dropull, the 3rd Festival of Traditional Dances and Polyphonic Song, “Take Me to Your Village,” is held, organized by the Cultural Association “Dropulli.” This folk event brings together artistic groups from different areas, which present folk dances, polyphonic songs, and traditional costumes on stage, promoting and preserving Albania’s rich cultural heritage. The festival creates a special festive atmosphere, where tradition and folk art blend with the characteristic hospitality of the Dropull region. For both local and foreign tourists, the festival offers an excellent opportunity to experience the authentic culture of southern Albania up close, to learn about local traditions, and to enjoy the folkloric richness that makes this area a unique cultural destination. The event is supported by the Municipality of Dropull and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports.
