“Vajzë Fest”

“Vajzë Fest” is held for the third consecutive year in the village of Vajzë, in Vlora. Initially launched as a traditional community celebration, it has evolved into an event with broader artistic and cultural dimensions, organized over three nights and featuring open-air screenings of film and theatre, folkloric performances, promotion of traditional cuisine, and guided tours. The festival attracts local residents, emigrants returning for holidays, as well as personalities from the fields of art and culture, contributing to the promotion of the area. As the birthplace of the renowned poet Ali Asllani and the “Hero of the People” Perlat Rexhepi, Vajzë represents an important historical and cultural heritage, which the festival promotes through its structured program and guided visits to sites of natural, cultural, and archaeological significance.
