World Berat Day at UNESCO

On July 8, in commemoration of the day when Berat was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city celebrates its history, architecture and unique identity that make it one of the most precious cultural treasures. This day marks the extraordinary values ​​of Berat, from its characteristic neighborhoods and ancient fortress, to its cultural and religious coexistence over the centuries, turning it into a symbol of Albanian and world heritage. During this day, cultural activities such as concerts, exhibitions and artistic events will be organized.
